Why your bank charge may be higher
ChatGPT is billed in US dollars for most Nigerian accounts, so the amount on your statement depends on your card. Some banks use their own exchange rate or add a markup, and digital services may attract VAT. Open Add bank FX markup or VAT in the calculator and enter what your bank actually charges. It’s also worth checking your card’s international spending limit before you subscribe.
