BBNaija Season 11 finale: the final 10, how to vote and the prize

All ten remaining housemates are through to the Big Brother Naija Season 11 finale on Sunday 4 October 2026. Ultimate Veto holder Barry chose immunity for the whole house, and Sunday’s three “evictions” turned out to be a prank.

Voting to choose the winner is open now and closes on Friday 2 October at 9pm WAT, according to Africa Magic.

Key details from the official show pages:

• Finale: Sunday 4 October at 19:00 WAT on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family. The house streams 24/7 on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 49.
• Voting deadline: Friday 2 October, 9pm WAT (Day 64 update, published 28 September).
• Prize: the season launched with “₦160 million worth of cash and prizes” on offer, in Africa Magic’s launch-night report. That total combines cash and prizes. The cash part now stands at ₦90 million after in-season deductions (see below).
• Final Head of House: Barry won the last Head of House challenge on Monday 28 September and picked Bluethopia as his Loft partner. Flora became the season’s final Benchwarmer.

How the house reached the final with no vote

The decisive moment came in Week 9. After Keivo won Head of House, Barry was called to the Diary Room to use the Ultimate Veto Power he held. He was given a sealed choice: “Immunity For All” or “Immunity For None”.

He chose immunity for everyone and was told to keep it secret. That cancelled the week’s public vote and put all ten remaining housemates in the final, as Africa Magic’s Day 57 report explains.

What happened on Sunday night

On the live show of Sunday 27 September, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced that Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem had been evicted. The three were kept apart from the rest of the house, then brought back as part of the twist, Pulse Nigeria and Vanguard reported. Africa Magic’s own Day 64 update also refers to Temi Nkem’s fake eviction.

Barry’s veto decision was then revealed to the house, and all ten were confirmed as finalists.

How to vote

From Africa Magic’s official voting guide:

• Register first at africamagic.tv/bigbrother with your name, year of birth, gender, location and phone number in international format (for example +234…). You confirm with a one-time PIN sent by SMS or WhatsApp.
• Website: up to 100 votes per person per voting round. Free, but data costs apply.
• Mobile site: another 100 votes per person per round, also free apart from data.
• MyDStv and MyGOtv apps: active subscribers on eligible packages get more votes, depending on the package. Examples from the guide: Premium 2,500, Compact Plus 1,500, Compact 750, GOtv Supa Plus 750, GOtv Max 350.
• App games: up to 200 extra votes per round for correct answers in two short quizzes.

How much cash the winner gets

The cash part of the prize started at ₦100 million, but it was never guaranteed. Under the season’s “Prize Money Fluctuation” rule, Big Brother deducted ₦5 million whenever the house failed to meet his expectations, and moved the money into the Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW) pot.

Africa Magic’s prize tracker records two deductions, in Weeks 4 and 6, leaving ₦90 million. Its 21 September MIPOW update puts the MIPOW pot at ₦10 million, which matches. Coverage of the final vote on 28 September, including Business Post Nigeria, describes the winner’s prize as ₦90 million in cash plus a new car. Africa Magic’s latest daily updates still use the “₦160 million grand prize” headline figure.

• Monday 21 September (Day 57): Keivo wins Head of House; Barry secretly chooses immunity for all.
• Sunday 27 September: The live show stages a fake eviction of Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem; the final ten are confirmed.
• Monday 28 September (Day 64): Barry wins the last Head of House challenge; each finalist makes a two-minute final pitch to viewers; voting opens.
• Friday 2 October, 9pm WAT: Voting closes.
• Sunday 4 October, 7pm WAT: Finale.

What to watch this week

Big Brother has told the finalists to be dressed and groomed every day of the final week, and each will get one night in the Head of House Loft. The live finale is on Sunday. We will publish the result and a full season recap after the show.
