TikTok pays some creators directly for their videos, but far fewer than most people think, and the rules catch out plenty of first-timers. This TikTok money calculator estimates your Creator Rewards Program earnings from your monthly qualified views and tells you plainly when the programme won’t pay you at all.
Creator Rewards replaced the old Creator Fund, which paid only a few cents per 1,000 views. Under the current programme TikTok pays per 1,000 qualified views. Only videos longer than one minute, posted after you join, count, and not every view qualifies. TikTok doesn’t publish a fixed rate. Disclosed creator results in 2026 mostly range from about $0.40 to $1.50 per 1,000 qualified views for US and UK audiences, with $0.80 a fair middle figure. The rate also moves with watch time, originality, search value and how valuable your audience is to advertisers.
The biggest catch is where you live. As of 2026 the programme has been publicly confirmed only for creators based in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. If you live in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya or most other countries, Creator Rewards currently pays nothing. Untick the “I live in a Creator Rewards country” box and the calculator will show this, along with what the same audience would earn if you were eligible.
You also need to be 18 or older, have at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, and post original content. TikTok changes these rules from time to time, so check the app for the latest.
How to use it
- Enter your qualified views per month. You’ll find them in TikTok Studio under Creator Rewards; if you’re not in the programme, use views on videos over one minute.
- Choose where most of your viewers live and tick the box only if you live in an eligible country.
- Pick a currency and press Estimate my earnings.
Most creators, especially in Africa, earn far more on TikTok from brand deals, LIVE gifts and affiliate links than from Creator Rewards. Our Instagram money calculator gives a starting point for sponsored-post pricing. All figures are estimates, not guarantees.
How it's calculated
- TikTok pays Creator Rewards per 1,000 qualified views. Only videos longer than one minute, posted after you join, count, and not every view qualifies.
- TikTok does not publish a fixed rate. Disclosed creator results in 2026 range from about $0.4–$1.5 per 1,000 qualified views for US and UK audiences (typical $0.8).
- The programme is only open to creators who live in: United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. If you live elsewhere, Creator Rewards pays nothing, and the calculator says so.
- Rates for audiences in Africa are our own estimate, and the low end is zero because views from non-eligible markets may not qualify at all.
- LIVE gifts, Subscriptions, TikTok Shop commission and brand deals are not included.

Frequently asked questions
How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views?
Through the Creator Rewards Program, disclosed results suggest roughly $0.4–$1.5 per 1,000 qualified views for US and UK audiences. Ordinary views on short videos and views from ineligible regions can earn nothing.
Can I earn from TikTok Creator Rewards in Nigeria?
Not directly at the moment. The programme is limited to creators living in United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. Nigerian creators usually earn on TikTok through brand deals, LIVE gifts and affiliate links instead.
How much does TikTok pay for 1 million views?
If all 1 million views are qualified and mostly from the US or UK, roughly $400–$1,500. In practice only part of your views qualify, so many creators earn less.
